DECISION ON THE DUTIES, AUTHORITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF COMMISSIONS
COURSE OFFERING, CURRICULUM PREPARATION, AND CURRICULUM CHANGES REVIEW AND EVALUATION COMMISSION

Carries out the processes of offering new courses, updating, and changing the existing curriculum in accordance with the objectives, learning outcomes, and quality standards of the department programs.

Examines and evaluates new course proposals coming from the department faculty members in terms of content, scope, credit, and ECTS compliance.

Checks the compliance of the changes to be made in the curriculum with the Bologna process and university guidelines.

Develops proposals for updating the curriculum in line with current sectoral developments, academic requirements, and student feedback.

Reviews the distribution of compulsory and elective courses in a way that preserves the integrity of the department program.

Submits the prepared curriculum and course change proposals along with their justifications to the department board.

Forwards the decisions taken as a result of the evaluations to the faculty administration through the department head.
